Does not last

I purchased this net earlier this year and like others purchased in the past, it didn't even last a full spring to fall season. The aluminum "U" shaped rod for the front end of the skimmer net ALWAYS breaks at roughly the same place!

Unfortunately, it's the only one that fits my skimmer.
